Saxophonist & Educator

Matthew is a saxophonist and educator studying at the University of Alabama under Dr. Jonathan Noffsinger. Matthew received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of North Alabama under Dr. Timothy Harris and his Master’s degree under Dr. Joseph Girard. Matthew has served as the Jazz Studies Graduate Assistant for the Schwob Jazz Orchestra, the Saxophone Instructor for the Schwob Preparatory Division, Director of Saxophone Ensemble at Smiths Station High School, and is the Saxophone Studio Graduate Assistant at the University of Alabama. Matthew has performed all across the United States as a soloist and as a member of: the Schwob Wind Ensemble, Schwob Jazz Orchestra, Legacy Saxophone Quartet, UNA Wind Ensemble, UNA Lab Band, UNA Marching Pride, and Premier Saxophone Quartet.
